The
Voice Data Video training program provides workers with the necessary
skills for installing and maintaining state-of-the-art sound and communications
systems.
Voice
Data Video journeymen remain on the leading edge of technology by
taking JATC classes to update their skills. Voice Data Video apprentices
learn crucial skills for wiring fiber optics, access controls, computer
networks, sound and audio systems, telephone systems and security
systems.
Voice
Data Video apprentices complete a three-year training program with
4,800 hours of on-the-job training. To qualify for the apprenticeship,
you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Graduated from high school or received your GED
- Must have completed one (1) year H.S. Algebra with a minimum grade of "C" or the NJATC Math Course.
- Have a valid California Drivers License at time of endeture.
- Pass the Aptitude Test, which focuses on verbal reasoning, abstract reasoning, mechanical reasoning, spatial relationships and physical orientation.
