IBEW Local 332 Members Assistance Fund
Guidelines and Rules

Any IBEW member that has worked in the jurisdiction of Local 332 in the last 12 months or is a member of Local 332, and is on the out-of-work list, may qualify for monetary assistance if they meet the following guidelines:

You Must:

  1. Identify yourself to the Local Union Office or any member of the Member Assistance Committee.

  2. Be unable to provide adequate financial support for your immediate family at this time.

  3. Be sincere in your request for monetary assistance and provide information deemed relevant to the committee upon request.

  4. Disclose any other income or income source to your immediate family (i.e., rental income, investments, spouse’s income, etc.).

NOTE: This account is not intended to provide subsidy for:

  1. Mismanaged personal accounts.

  2. Bail or fines levied by any law enforcement agency, this Local union or any other IBEW Local Union.

  3. Drug or alcohol uses.

  4. Any person who intends to take financial advantage of IBEW Local 332 without having a sincere need.

Purpose: To extend brotherhood in time of sincere need to others from the members of Local 332, San Jose, CA.

  • AII information is confidential

  • Guidelines and Rules may be changed at any time by committee members

  • Committee is appointed by the President of Local 332

  • Funds subject to availability

  • Account funded by voluntary contributions from the Membership

  • Account funds are held in the IBEW Local 332 Electric Federal Credit Union

To insure assistance for other Members, repayment of extended funds is critical. Abuse of the Fund will be grounds for automatic rejection.
