IBEW Ninth District Softball Tournament



Local 332 has a softball team that participates in an adult league each year at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex. Made up of Local 332 members this version of the team has been playing together for 20 years. Of course there are many new faces since 1982 and new blood has kept this team together.

How can you play on the team? Show up. Details regarding the team can be asked of Sal Ventura. There are games once a week during the season(s) that the team plays and there are occasional practices. So the ones that play of course have an aptitude for the game but more importantly they show up. If you’ve played some ball and want to share in some competitive gamesmanship please consider coming out to our games. Fresh legs and strong arms are more than welcome.

Each year Local 332 participates in the IBEW 9th District Softball Tournament. This annual event was started in 1997 with a handful of teams, and has grown to 13 teams from California and Oregon.

Open to all IBEW locals in the 9th District it has become a model of fraternal competition, camaraderie, and brotherhood. Each team takes their games seriously but in the end the best team for that weekend is congratulated and everyone looks forward to the next tournament.

Local 332 has done well in these tournaments but has come up just short. Maybe you can be the difference.
