Walk a Mile in Their Shoes

Members Raise Awareness Around Domestic Violence & Raised Money for Survivors

Every year, IBEW 332 is a sponsor of the YWCA’s Walk a Mile in Their Shoes event. It’s a community-centered, family-friendly walk to raise funds and awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence. While the issue is very serious, participants are encouraged to have fun (and test their endurance) by wearing high heels for the entire mile. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps strengthen trauma-informed services and support people seeking safety, healing, and hope. Together, we showed that IBEW stands with survivors and has our community members’ backs!

EWMC Family Fun Day

EWMC Welcomes All 332 Members to Build Our Local’s Sense of Community, Unity, and Family Fun

The Electrical Workers Minority Caucus is one of the most active committees in Local 332, with dozens of members from all backgrounds coming together for monthly social outings and community service. Business Manager Pete Seaberg gave one of his famous (and infamous) retirement workshops. A few times a year, Pete holds workshops to help members maximize their retirement. As he says, “If you play your cards right, you can retire an IBEW millionaire. If you missed my last workshop, stop by the hall to see me. My door is always open to talk retirement!”
